There are occasions when access to the internet is a distinct advantage to many of our clients. Thankfully Fuerteventura, as part of Spain, has benefited from a surge of telecommunication investment that rivals, if not exceeds, that of Northern Europe in recent years.

In June 2008 Vodafone UK commenced a programme of offering their wireless 3G service at just £15 per month. For this you get high-speed mobile broadband internet access at almost limitless amounts and no further charges in the UK. This mobile access is simply a USB plug in device that closely resembles a memory stick. The only difficulty is roaming charges with these devices abroad are traditionally expensive.

From the 1st July 2010 an EU ruling now caps data roaming charges from one EU country to another at 50 euros per month, but this is still expensive compared to our internet arrangements.

We have gone one step further than the others and offer FREE internet access by supplying a USB dongle for the duration of your holiday* (if you request this facility at the time of your booking). For this service, all you need to pack is your netbook or laptop and our dongle will do the rest. You can now enjoy internet access, inclusive of our weekly villa rental fee, wherever you are on Fuerteventura island, even on the beach if you feel so inclined!

All of our villas receive a strong 3G signal on their sun terraces and pool areas.
